Colchagua Valley, Chile
This wine from the Colchagua Valley in Chile, is smooth with hints of spice that are typical of the Carmenere character. It glows with an intense red appearance accompanied by violet undertones. The wine has a pleasant concentration with fruity aromas of dark red fruits. The tannins are firm and the wine is well balanced and ends with a smooth, lingering finish. The blend with Malbec makes it a smooth and medium-bodied wine with a delicate intensity ... the perfect accompaniment to red meat dishes.
