The Southern Rata is one of New Zealand’s largest South Island flowering trees. It has a bright crimson flower that is represented in our lighter in alcohol Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
A lightness that is both crisp and refreshing, this wine captures floral aromas and flavours. It is both fresh and fruity with only 8.5% alcohol.
This wine is superb with seafood, picnic lunches by the beach, or Friday night drinks with good friends.

The winery is located in Marlborough, New Zealand’s renowned Sauvignon Blanc producing region, but we source grapes from all over New Zealand from both our own vineyards and contract growers alike.
